Lonza’s latest advances in the GS Gene Expression System® technology platform showcase how multifaceted vector optimisation, bespoke promoter design, and high performance CHO hosts can be intelligently combined to improve the expression of diverse protein biotherapeutics. This presentation highlights how technologies such as GS piggyBac® transposon technology and the GSquad® Pro vector system with the LHP 1 promoter enable higher productivity, outstanding expression stability, and streamlined progression from discovery to manufacturing. Using both R&D and commercial data we will show how these integrated innovations de risk development and support reliable performance across diverse molecule formats, paving the way for more efficient and successful biomanufacturing. We will also look into the future direction of the GS Gene Expression System® technology platform and consider where further vector-based solutions may arise.
